Honestly, I find the issue of how newspapers fund themselves and how they try to monopolize journalism insignificant. I understand that it may be hard to actually commence on the journey to economic success in the world of printed news. However it seems that the major newspapers the article highlighted have different ways of gaining the funds they need to maintain a quality editorial. For example the Associated Press is essentially funded through a sort of non-profit cooperative. So eventually these newspapers find a way to fund themselves though the may never reach "creative capitalism". But do they really have to go that far economically,if how their already slightly complicated way of gaining funds is enough? I am not sure of I would respond to that question. But why make everything more confusing then it already is. I mean I could barely understand the article itself. So I think we should just ignore it unless it is a immediate and consistent issue that is threatening to disrupt lives worldwide.
